Media Blitz Planned For Wednesday Evening

WHAT: Three news reporters have confirmed they are coming with cameras to interview THE PUBLIC

What is so important???

Last week I discovered that the City of St. Paul CONDEMNS a person’s home if they have fallen on hard times and CAN’T PAY the ELECTRIC bill.

That’s right…if you lost your job over the winter and could not keep up with your utility bill, then X-CEL Energy turns off your utilities…..

AND X-CEL then CALLS the City of St. Paul.

The City then comes out to the house and IMMEDIATELY CONDEMNS the home as“unfit for human habitation”. And you get KICKED OUT of your house.

The person must immediately pay the utilities and is then required to have a complete code compliance inspection AND the house brought up to current 2008 code BEFORE they can live in the house…cost…$20,000? $30,000? more???.

And guess what happens if you can’t pay the utility bill, much less all the “repairs” now needed on your house?

The City of St. Paul demolishes your house…and you are sent the bill for the demolition.

ON THE AGENDA for Wednesday evening at the St. Paul City Council meeting is the APPROVAL of condemning well over a dozen homes because the people could not pay their electric bills.

We are going to be INTERVIEWING people, on camera, that are coming to the city council meeting. Then we are “going live” on Inside Insight Wednesday night…and then posting on the web.
